Polo without compromise
frolo is for people who notice details. We built it from scratch, fixing the things nobody else bothered to fix - a limp collar, a scratchy label, a fabric that gives up after a few washes.
Our story
I have worn polo shirts since I was 13, and for all those years I kept running into the same problems.
Collars that lose their shape. Side labels that scratch - whether you cut them out or not.
At some point I decided it was time to change that.
The problem
I know it from my own polos: they only looked good at the start. Over time they lost their structure, their comfort and the quality of their finish.
And it is the details that make the difference - especially if you wear them every day.
The solution
After testing many suppliers and models I found a construction that meets my requirements.
The fabric composition is what matters - including 25% Sorona® fibre, which is responsible for durability, stretch recovery and comfort.
We also dropped the classic side label. The composition is printed under the collar - no irritation, no compromise.
Sorona® is a registered trademark of DuPont. frolo is not a partner of, or affiliated with, DuPont - the fibre name is given for information only.
Quality and production
Before settling on the final construction I tested several manufacturers and several fabric variants - personally, on my own samples, over weeks of wearing and washing.
frolo is made in small batches. We do not overproduce - which sometimes means a longer wait for a restock, but also full control over the quality of every batch before it goes on sale.

frolo was made for people who wear a polo not occasionally, but as an everyday part of how they dress - and for whom the details matter.
What's next
We are working on new colours and cuts. Every collection is made in small numbers - no overproduction, with attention to detail.
